Steamclock World Tour
Over the last year we’ve been lucky enough to be invited to speak at a number of wonderful conferences. In 2014, we were on stage in 9 cities in 4 countries, sharing some of the things we’ve learned building apps at Steamclock. Here are some recordings of what we’ve been up to:
- Maximum Viable Products at Çingleton 4. This talk at the Çingleton conference in Montreal focused on the joys and challenges of building high-quality apps, and how targeting the prosumer market can be a way to build a sustainable business out of high quality software.
- Embedding WebKit in Modern iOS Apps. This talk at the Seattle Xcoders meetup in July 2014 discussed some newly announced features of WebKit on iOS, and how they can be used to build great hybrid mobile apps.
- Iterate episode 80, “The Party Monster”. The design podcast Iterate recently interviewed Allen on his background, the history of Steamclock, and making music apps.
- VanCocoa and VanJS. Steamclock folks often speak at and attend at the Vancouver meetup groups we help run, so if you’d like to see us speak or just come say hi, we’d love to meet you.
Of course we have big plans for 2015, so stay tuned.
