How much will my project cost?

Our polished 1.0 projects typically range between $150k and $300k, and we do smaller iterations, design engagements, and technical consulting for smaller budgets, down to a minimum of $50k. If any scope exceeds roughly $300k, we usually work with clients to break the work into staged builds or release phases instead. Depending on current project load, we can often get started on projects within 1-2 weeks. While build times vary by project, we always try to get work in the hands of real users as fast as possible, ideally within 2-4 months. Beyond that, many of our clients engage us for ongoing iteration and maintenance, in many cases leading to years-long partnerships.

Do you use AI-assisted coding tools?

Yes we do. Coding agents can accelerate some parts of the development process substantially, but also create software that’s difficult to maintain and modify, or that lacks design taste. We’re targeted in our use of coding agents, and we set up thoughtful guardrails for them to follow. This way, we can get many of the speed benefits of AI-assisted development without losing good architectural judgment, the design sense that separates an excellent mobile app from a functional one, or the expertise that comes from years of shipping real products for real users.
